As an independent kitchen designer we only supply design & are not tied to any particular supplier or products. We provide you with an unbiased opinion of the best use of your space & what will work in it.

You get the opportunity to get involved in the design process & explore all your ideas with an experienced designer. The designs are yours & the final set will be detailed for services also.

Well, we can design kitchens at any level of the market, so it’s very important that you let us know what sort of budget you have available, so that we design something suitable .We can design kitchens costing less than €5,000 in total, using IKEA or B&Q units or by you finding a local supplier. Some kitchens can go as high as €40,000 depending on the quality of cabinets, quality of appliances, type of worktop & so forth .

If your project is a large kitchen with, say an island and granite worktops, then a realistic budget is €20,000 – €30,000. The important thing is indeed to get good value for money – and to make informed choices as to what you’re willing to pay for – that’s where we can help. 

No you sign a contract with the kitchen company, fitter or other supplier in the usual way. We are just helping you to choose suitable suppliers and get a design based on your wants and needs and not on what a particular company wants to sell you. Often the cabinets, appliances & worktops would be supplied by different suppliers.

We are based in Cork City & do provide a home design consultation within a limited area. This service is at an extra cost & is a 2 hour consultation where we go through the kitchen in detail & take all the necessary measurements we need along with any other information required to do the design. No we do not order kitchens. We are a design only service. Your kitchen measurements will need to be checked by whoever is fitting the kitchen & it is they who should order the components. Should sizes vary greatly when work is completed we can amend the drawings once sizes are confirmed to us.

We do work with a number of kitchen supplier around the country as we provide them with a professional design service so we may be able to recommend a supplier in your area. You would need to satisfy yourself that you would be happy with their product & service.

Hopefully, this won’t happen because we take great care to listen to your wishes. Sometimes it can, though, especially if you ask us to come up with a different and imaginative idea. In that case, we will amend the plan once (with as many changes as you require), at no extra cost.
